14TH ANNUAL LIONS CLUB FENIX MEMORIAL DOUBLES BOWLING TOURNAMENT

TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2010

 

Hosted by the Vernon and Manchester Lions Clubs to Benefit

The Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, Inc. on its 50th Anniversary

 

              Vernon, Conn.- The 14th Annual Lions Club Fenix Memorial Doubles Bowling Tournament to benefit the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation (Fidelco) is being held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Spare Time Vernon Lanes, 350 Talcottville Road, Vernon, Conn. In case of snow, the tournament will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010. John Garoppolo, a Manchester resident and Fidelco client, started the annual bowling tournament to honor “Fenix,” his first Fidelco guide dog.

               Entry fee is $35 per team. Each team will bowl three scratch games and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. There will also be free pizza for all participants, raffles and special cash prizes for designated shots and matching a secret Mystery Score.
