Boy Scouts Campout Benefits Fidelco
In celebration of the Boy Scouts of America’s 100th anniversary in 2010, Troop 15 from Redding, Connecticut responded with its “One Hundred” service project.
On Saturday, March 6, 2010, the troop pitched its tents at the Fidelco campus in Bloomfield. During the weekend campout, the troop met with Fidelco personnel, took blindfold walks with Fidelco trainers and guide dogs and built four whelping boxes; which are enclosures where Fidelco’s German shepherd mothers can safely give birth and attend to their puppies. Thanks to Troop 15!
